Microsoft has published its first list of devices which are eligible to download the Windows 10 technical preview for phones... Only the following six devices have made the first cut
If you have one of the devices listed above you can download the Windows 10 Technical Preview by first downloading the Windows Insider app. Make sure you have at least 8GB of free space and that you have Windows Phone 8.1 installed.
While it's frustrating having to wait for the Windows 10 preview on your mobile device, you can actually pick up a Lumia 635 in the US for as little as $50 on Amazon and try the preview out right now... The T-Mobile model costs slightly more ($80) but its still a great deal for someone looking to try out the Windows 10 preview.
