The international Nokia Lumia 1020 model (RM-875) has the same 2G and 3G bands as the U.S. AT&T model (RM-877) but the LTE bands are different
AT&T operates at bands 4 and 17 (700 and 1700MHz)
T-Mobile uses 1700 and 2100 MHz
While the RM-875 does have 2100 it won't work on T-Mobile unless the carrier offers the 2100 band in your region in the US. It is best that you contact your local T-Mobile store before you purchase the RM-875. Meanwhile US consumers are advised to use the RM-877 with AT&T instead or select one of T-Mobile's Windows Phones
