According to Microsoft's Gabriel Aul, who is leading the Windows 10 Insider Program, the Nokia Lumia 635 which he is currently testing on Windows 10 is "very smooth on it overall"
The Lumia 635 is an mid-entry level Windows Phone, with 512MB of RAM. However it is important to note that it features a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, while other popular 512MB devices like the Lumia 520 only feature dual-core CPUs. The Windows 10 Preview for phones is expected to launch very soon, and we are curious to see how it fairs on older Windows Phones.

@aakash006sharma @lumia I rotate through devices, but right now daily driver is a 512MB Lumia 635. W10 is very smooth on it overall.
